Computer Labs.
Monday, August 24:

Our Computer Clubhouse opened its doors Monday, August 24, 2009 to school children ages 8-16.

Based in the Waco Housing Authority's Computer Labs, Clubhouse meets three days a week from 4-6 p.m. and focuses on educational and technological skills development.

Children in the program work on computer-based activities as well as getting help with their homework and strengthening their basic computer skills.  Throughout the year, the children will also go on field trips to several Waco attractions and sites.

Computer Clubhouse is provided in conjunction with Waco Housing Authority and funded by a generous grant from the Rapoport Foundation.

For more information or to enroll your child, call (254) 759-1827 or e-mail us at lori@wacotech.org.

This list represents our most frequently asked questions. We hope you will find

this resource both insightful and uniquely useful to your needs. It is out of a

common interest between our staff and visitors  that we have formed this

section to service the needs of the individuals we serve.

Q: What is WacoTECH?

A: Waco TECH is a non-profit 501c(3) project specializing in programs

dedicated to providing computer access, training and resources to

under-served members of the Waco Community. We currently offer many youth

and senior oriented programs designed to educate and enlighten on the many

exciting ways in which computer access and knowledge enriches our everyday

lives.

Q: How do I know if I am qualified for your services?

A: Anyone can attend our organized programs. However, due to the nature of

our organization, our goal  is to service the under-served members of the

Waco Community. Anyone who considers themselves  lacking in the proper

resources necessary for reliable computer access and training is encouraged to

attend one or more of our programs to increase potential educational and

job-related opportunities.

Q: How do I donate?

A: At the moment, we recommend visiting our Facebook page. We will be

adding more ways to donate soon, but this is the surest and quickest way to

ensure your donation will be able to help support our organizations causes.

Any Questions you feel are missing? Ask away! You can e-mail us with specific

a response if your question has already been adressed in this list, which has
